In-Ground lighting fixtures offer a versatile way of up lighting trees, walls, and outdoor features. This line voltage in-ground fixture with integrated ballast utilizes ED17 Metal Halide or High Pressure Sodium series of lamps and is rated for use with lamps up to 70 watts. The compression-molded, fiber-reinforced composite housing is designed to withstand the most rugged of applications. The injection-molded, glass-reinforced Ryton™ R4 composite directional rock guard is fitted to the housing with a C-curved cross-section gasket to ensure a superior weather-tight seal. A clear, tempered, shock and heat resistant soda-lime glass lens safeguards the lamp and optics. The high performance aluminum flood reflector has a polished hammer tone finish for uniform flood distribution. An adjustable lamp bracket provides up to ±25º of tilt as well as 360º of rotation for precise beam control. In addition, the 1106 has an International Protection rating of IP67, for protection against detrimental dust intrusion as well as penetration of water under submersion.
